ANNIVERSARY MONTH CELEBRATIONS

HOLY COW! We’re turning 20! We’re celebrating this ridiculously momentous occasion with all sorts of fun shindigs:

• October 8: single origin and single estate chocolate tasting with Conexion chocolate, an Ecuedorian co-op. 6-7:30 at our Logan Square location ($25).
• October 16: beer launch at Begyle! Come try the beer we’ve designed with Begyle Brewing at their taproom. We’ll also be toasting s’mores on site! 5pm-8pm
• October 17: drinking chocolate bar at our Logan Square shop from 12-3! Come get a tasting pour of our drinking chocolate, top it with mini marshmallows & toppings
• October 24: our big 20 year anniversary party at the Irving Park shop! We’ll have a full sweets table with 20 sweets for 20 years, meats from Smoque BBQ, Begyle beer, NA cocktails, celebration cake, and much more ($50). Link here.
• October 25: s’more toasting at our Logan Square shop - complimentary s’mores from 12-4!

The whole week of October 19-25, we’ll be offering some Anniversary specials including:

• roll-back caramel pricing, 5 caramels for $1 - this is how Katherine first started selling her caramels (at the age of 12) at her dad’s work
• spin the wheel at Irving, win prizes like free truffles, caramels, t-shirts or just a high five

We’re launching our 20 year treat box! We’ve been working with 9 local chefs to create a 54-piece “best of KAC” collection. You’ll find some of our best sellers, some favorites from years past, and 13 totally new treats created with our team and some pretty cool local chefs. AND we’re donating $25 from each box to a fantastic local organization that teaches kids in disadvantaged neighborhoods how to cook.
